“My Beloved Wife!,” we contributed manga/illustration artwork that appears within the drama.
Based on the comic “My Wife Has a Developmental Disorder” by Nanato Eri and Satoshi Kameyama, this drama depicts the everyday life of a couple living together while facing the realities of developmental disorders, and each person’s own “shape of happiness.”
In the story, the protagonist, Satoru Kitayama, works as a manga artist’s assistant, and the “Manga Studio” run by veteran manga artist Manbo Nomura appears as one of the story’s key settings. Manga production itself becomes part of the story, depicted through scenes such as the pursuit of a manga award and the studio staff at work creating manga.
