Yusun, a trainee court lady serving in the royal palace, was executed for a crime she did not commit — and should have died there. And yet Yusun wakes up in the palace once again, only to realize that time has rewound. The memory of being branded a criminal and executed in humiliation was no dream. Determined to defy this terrifying fate, Yusun begins investigating the truth behind the incident, but is captured by a mysterious man and subjected to a thorough “examination” of every inch of her body. Overcome with shame, she once resolves to take her own life. And yet, as she works alongside the man to uncover a conspiracy within the palace, her heart and body are gradually drawn ever more captive.
