Position Overview
Employment type: Freelance / contract basis
Compensation: Negotiated per project, based on experience and our internal guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- You enjoy reading vertical-scroll (webtoon-style) comics regularly
- You have professional experience creating manga/illustrations, or experience creating manga/illustrations in doujin or similar settings
(We will still consider your skills even without professional experience) - You can work as part of a team using digital data (using Clip Studio EX)
- You’re motivated to create a single work together as a team
- You can communicate sufficiently and smoothly
- You can be relied on to meet deadlines responsibly
Storyboard (Name) Artist
- You will create storyboards (name) based on a plot.
- You may be involved in multiple projects.
- You may also be asked to handle the artwork.
Artist (Line Art)
- You will handle the artwork for works based on an existing story/script.
- You may also be asked to handle character design, storyboards, etc. separately (negotiable).
Art Assistant
- Assisting with artwork. You will draw supporting characters and backgrounds other than the main elements.
Colorist
- You will color the line art and finish it based on a color reference.
- You may also be asked to handle color and shading specifications.
